Overview
Case Radar is a public-facing AI-powered legal research and advisory platform built specifically for Nigerian law. It enables legal professionals to interact with a chat-style AI, upload legal documents for analysis, and access case citations and summaries tailored to Nigerian courts and statutes.
The Challenge
The core challenge was designing an interface that could handle complex legal workflows — conversational AI, document uploads, and dense legal citations — while remaining fast, intuitive, and trustworthy for practicing lawyers. Accuracy, clarity, and usability were critical due to the sensitive nature of legal work.
The Process
Worked closely with domain experts to understand Nigerian legal research workflows, common case law references, and citation standards.
Designed and implemented a chat-style AI interface that allowed lawyers to ask legal questions and receive structured, citation-backed responses.
Built document upload and analysis flows that enabled users to submit legal documents and receive AI-generated summaries and insights.
Developed reusable UI components for presenting case citations, legal references, and supporting sources in a clear, readable format.
Ensured the application was responsive, accessible, and optimized for performance as a public-facing product.
The Outcome
The final product delivered a reliable and professional legal research experience that lawyers could trust. Case Radar successfully combined conversational AI with document analysis and citation-based research, making legal information more accessible and significantly reducing research time.
